Topic: Manual restore of backup - where are the mysql data files

Hello !

I have some problem to make a restore of a sme 6.0.1

The problem might be due to some unauthorized mods I made myself regarding user accounts. (Redefining ordinary users to have ftp access and to be able to publish on the web area.

Well when I now try to make a restore, it just hangs in the end when it comes to the restore og user accounts and passwords.

I have actually discovered that it is quite possible to open the backup to workstation file and to pick out each element and from that to make a "manual restore".

To be able to do that, I need to find the datafiles for the mysql database in the restore file.

Anybody who knowsr where to find it, and if it is with .sql format (so it can be restored by phpmyadmin.)

By the way, the server is still running smooth and nice, but I like to prepere the oportunity to make a restore if a disaster shuold happen, so I just now make some experiments copying the datas over to another sme server ..

Well, after some triksing an reconfiguration of the backup server it now accepts the faulty backup. Modified user accounts will be removed. No help required.
