Can u change the language by default to Mailbox on WebMail.

The login screen you can chage the languages, but inside at Inbox it change again to English and i need this to Spanish.

When in the mailbox choose options on the top icon bar and from there you can set your lanaguage option for the mailbox.

Go to  /home/httpd/html/horde/config/lang.php

edit the lines:
 

/* The langauge to fall back on if we cannot determine one any other
way (user choice, preferences, HTTP_ACCEPT_LANGUAGE). */
$nls['defaults']['language'] = 'en_US';

change en_US to es_ES and save

Next I thought you might need to change language settings on the workstation but changing them in the internet browser will do.
For example in IE6 go to TOOLS > Options > General >Language Button and remove any language settings forcing the php app (webmail) to default to es_ES  Spanish

Are you still having problems? If you are using IE6 if you change the language setting to spanish the webmail interface will automatically be spanish without the need to edit any thing on the SME Server.
A lot simpler don't know why it didn't occur to me first time.
To Change the setting in IE6 go to TOOLS > Options > General >Language Button and remove any language settings and add the required spanish.
