I would like to append a kernel parameter [apm=power-off] to an existing 6.5RC1 test system to ascertain whether a complete shut-down can be achieved on this particular machine. Unfortunately, I do not know how to do this, and a search has not revealed much to date. Can someone point me in the right direction? Many thanks, as always. chris.
