Dial-in Remote Access Question
« on: April 05, 2005, 01:02:03 AM »
I was looking at the only contrib I found to allow dial-in access (at http://no.longer.valid/phpwiki/index.php/Dialin%20access%20to%20the%20server), and I was wondering if anyone had tested it on 6.x yet?  Or is there a newer howto/contrib that the search didn't turn up?

Hi,

I have been using this dialin contrib for a while now and have had no real problems with it.

I have a friend that uses it alot to access the net when he runs out of time on his own internet account.

Thanks for the reply Quail_Linux.  So no problems on 6.0.1-01?  That's great!  Thanks!

Hi,

Yeah it is pritty simply to use, all you mainly have to do is install the rpm and then go to your web browser and log into the server-manager and you will see a heading under Configuration called Dial In.

And under Security there is User dialin access for allow access to the users you wish to beable to dial in.
