port forward howto

Hi guys,

I am having trouble with Darrell's howto on port forwarding. What I want to do is connect to port 12550 (or some nonstandard port) on the e-smith firewall and have that map to internal machine 192.168.0.22 port 21. Can someone reply with how I would do that?

Thanks

Rob Delissen

I.ve tried installing the ipforwarding too. Without any result. I'd be pleaded with a solution.

Maybe this already exists, but I'd really like to see someone add this to the e-smith-manager.

I mean, it is a pretty basic feature of a gateway/router and yet, its not 'simple' and 'easy' for small business managers to simply forward a port to another machine....

Can I somehow forward a range of ports to another machine? Like everything above 1024 or so?
