Ok here goes.

I want to copy and paste the OpenXchange script onto my server.
So i highlight the text and CTRL C it
I then make a new txt doc on my desktop and CTRL V it into it.
I then save it and view it...all looks ok
I name it openxchange_inst.sh to which windows complains like hell as ever.
I then copy it into my scripts directory on the server.
when i sh openexchange_inst.sh it comes up with errors
after much head scratching and so on i look at another script i randomly pick
the formating is totaly different.

What the hell am i doing wrong
Am i stupid or what?

Help please... its the last thing i need to get working and i can start to rid my world of MS 2003 SBS forever MUHUHAHAHAAAA....

Thanks in advance
And please.... only insult me if i deserve it =O)

Andy

PS. by the way, this site is a wealth of info from which i have built a great server thats as solid as a rock. thank you to all that contribs, hopefully i will be adding some of my greymatter soon. Thanks to all of you.

I used putty and ssh'ed to the server
I used pico to create the file then copy/paste the contents from web to file.
Then i chmod'ed it as you said and ...... !

It worked.
