Topic: ftp - cannot put to an ibay

After hours of trying to figure why I cannot PUT a file into ibays/xxx/files (version Mitel Network server 6.0),
i tried on the production machine i need to use the PUT on, and it works! (SME Server 6.0.1-01)

On both machine ftp is fully open, (GET works), and the ibay is write=group, read=everyone (ie all settings the same).

Forum search seems there may be ftp problems some versions: is mitel 6.0 one of those?
What's my best upgrade plan (my test machine is a bit customised - can i just update ftp).

Hmmm... figured it out!

Before using ftp you must cd /sourcefiles
then within ftp the 'put filename' will not include '/' - which will not work.
(as it happens my files were in 3 places, to I had to cp them all into the same dir first)
