Fetchmail and blocking certain email-addresses
« on: May 11, 2005, 12:19:10 PM »
I'm currently running a SME 6.0.1-10 with fetchmail (contrib smeserver-fetchmail-1.3.4-02.noarch.rpm). This is running very nice on my setup but since a few weeks spam from a certain address keeps coming to my emailaddres.

FetchMail collects the incomimg mail from several pop3 mailservers and is delivers it to local mailboxes (3 locals).
Fetchmail only collects mail from external pop3 servers and sending mail goes via the smtp server of my ISP.

Is there a way to get rid of spam from this certain email address (or complete domain if possible) with this setup (using smeserver-fetchmail-1.3.4-02.noarch.rpm) by installing spamassasin or do I need another contrib which works in combination with fetchmail?

As the box runs very good with fetchmail and a running Quake III Server (private) I don't want to reinstall the whole thing.

I hope this question above is clear enough. If you need more info, please ask and I'll provide any info needed.

Thanks in advance,
Lum-chan
