Topic: Problem with wrl files on web server

Hi,

I have problem with vrml files (virtual reality modelling language) stored on the website of my sme 6.0. Such files use .wrl extension. Indeed, there is two kinds of wrl file :
- the first one is plain text file and it automatically call the vrml plugin when clicking on the corresponding link
- the second one is a compressed version of the first one but with the same .wrl extension. When clicking it with IE, the browser wants to store it as myworld.gz (file name is myworld.wrl). And Mozilla just displaies the binary content.

I don't have such problems when storing my vrml on other serveurs (like the one of my provider).

Any idea?

I only can give a foggie hint: the webserver must know the content-type and what to do with it.
