Topic: recompile qmail

I would like to recompile qmail so that I can capture incoming and outgoing email. I know there are other ways to do this and I have looked at them but I would rather do it the "qmail way".

Can someone help me to figure this out? I will document my progress and post back to the site with a howto, I just need a little direction.
