Topic: DELL PESC1650

Hi everybody,

I have a Dell Power Edge server SC1650. I use SME 6.5RC1 and everything running fine on the software side.

The problem is the two big fans run at maximum speed and are very noisy, the question is : how to control the fan speed with the heat sensors on that server.

Thans for any help.

just replace the fans with better ones. it can't cost that much.

besides, this minimizes the risk of burning out the hardware.
