I hope someone can help me!!! ... I am really put into the dark of this!
I have setup a server on my dsl modem (512/256) in server and gateway mode and a switch is used to connect to the private network... well it works quite nice but there is one major problem: IT'S SLOW... when i download a file from the internet via the SME sever the download speed newer exceeds 7KB/s
, when i download the same file from the same pc but bypassing the SME server i get a constant speed of 150KB/s. Everything (dynamic dns, mail server etc.) seems to be working just perfectly. I am using SME Server 6.0... (The server is running at 800MHz, 256Mb, 40Gb HD and has two ethernet cards)...
Really hope someone can give me a hint..
