Topic: newbie question about pop email

I have never worked with Linux before but I have a new customer with a Mitel 6000 SME server, and they have a most bizarre problem.  I do not believe that the server is hosting mail at all, and everyone opens IE and uses webmail to access their Adelphia cable email, but one person wants to use Outlook Express.  We have found that OE can receive mail just fine and can send to anyone (that we know of) except to other people with xxx@adelphia.net email addresses.  The messages go out without errors and go to Sent Items but never are received by the recipients.  It happens on all the computers and only at this office, so I feel it must be the server causing this somehow.  I have checked to make sure that mail.adelphia.net is not excluded on the server, and it isn't.  Any suggestions?

Log into the server manager (From lan side:  http://serverip/server-manager) and look at the domains panel.  Make sure that the previous admin did not setup this server with any domain like *@adelphia.net.  You can also look through the hostnames and addresses panel and look for anything like *@adelphia.net.
