Topic: Primary domain name not valid

On some of my servers I have set the primary domain name to "local.domainname...", and this normally gives no problem, however sometimes the admin emails (which are forwarded to me over the internet) are bounced as the "from" address is not valid.  This only happens when my own line is not up (BT again!), and the emails have to be  buffered at my ISP.

I can see that I could go through the configuration screen and take out the "local", then re-boot, buit I am a bit concerned that it might mess something else up (these are live production servers).  Is there somewhere else in the config files that i can "hack" which will mean that the from field for admin emails does not have the "local" in it?

These are all 6.0.1 incidentally.

I have learn't my lesson, and all my latest boxes have the real domain name set!!
