E-mail problem sme 6.5
« on: June 28, 2005, 08:10:06 PM »
Hi to all, here I’m with new problem. My mail server has problem, I can send e-mail but I did not receive any. When I check with top I can see mail process running but when I check with myserver.domain.webmail and login there’s noting in the inbox. I don’t know is this is enough information to fix my problem.

I forgot to mention that I was receiving e-mail but since I did not used a lot I can’t determine what I did to damage it or when.

Again thank you to all.

Check your permissions in /etc/e-smith/files/users.  Each user should be the owner of their directory.

If not, chown -R user.user user

What do your logs say - /var/log/messages

ah, that would explain a few things.  I was really doubting you had a permissions issue, but you never know.  Glad you got it figured out.
