server-manager from the command line

Hi,

How can I add users from the command line, including setting their passwords?

I am using SME server in a school and so we often have lots of people arrive all at the same time. I would like to just run a script on a text file to add the users and assign prandom passwords, then print out a username/password list.

Is there a FAQ or anything to describe the way to do things via the command line? The server-manager is nice for one offs but not very convenient for many operations. I recently asked how to forward ports from the command line as if I had done so using the server-manager.

Also, is there a way to generate random passwords, and /or force a user to change their password when they next log in?

Max.
