e-smith on ISA i486

Hi:

Wanted to post this to let you know that by following Charlie Brady's excellent instructions (posted in response to another user on 12/12/1999) I was able to set up an e-smith server for my home LAN using an ISA 486DX2 machine with 16 MB ram, 400 MB hard drive, 3Com 56K ISA modem and an old ne 2000 clone NIC.

And it works great.  Now I can test new things on my network at home before I try them at work, and I can use a $20.00 computer (not including the modem) rather than a Pentium machine -- and use it as a low cost "simulator" for the production LAN at work.

Thanks,
