I'm about to place a PowerEdge 500sc into an office of 12 users. It will have 2 80GB drives in a RAID-1 on separate IDE channels. It has 640MB of ram, and will only be acting as a file server.
I have seen some links to scsi howtos to add a controller after install for older versions of SME, but don't know if they would work. Can anyone point me to a howto that isn't as dated, or am I stuck working this out and posting a howto?
I have a Seagate 12/24GB DDS that I'll start with, then get something else later. I like the look of the iomega rev, but that might be too bleeding edge.
