My winXP machine seems to freeze whenever I run a back up to desktop (completely stop, can't even move the mouse). The machine doesn't seem to have any other problems and only does this when doing a backup. I have heard that browsers can cause a computer to freeze when downloading a large amount of data over a LAN. Can anyone enlighten me a little more on this. It freezes at all different stages, and with both IE and Firefox. I'm running SME 6.5. My backup (when it works) is normally just under the 800mb mark.
Is there a way to stop this from happening?
