Are you expecting the SME to retrieve the POP mail?

webmail interface.

SME has its own Webmail Interface that you could use.

until I can switch out the email server.

What are you planning to use when you switch out the email server?

More info on email server.  This services WAN clients.  The clients have to be able to access the server from outside. Approx. 1000 clients.  They also must be able to read their email by using mail2web.com

For POP each email client does the retrievel.

1) I assume the external esmith(Antivirus,Antispam) would have to have the real IP with it set to delegate server IP.  The actual email server would have to have a private IP.

The questions are: How does the external email clients get their email? How do the email clients use sonething like mail2web.com to access their email?

I eventually want to move to a esmith email server.
