Topic: How do I install cups on SME 6.5

I recently installed SME 6.5 and printing is terribly slow (see my other post).  I'd like to revert back to cups.  How do I install cups on SME 6.5.  I found a contrib for up to 6.0, but none for 6.5.

You can use the CUPS from the 6.0 Contrib, I have done it before.  However, once you try to share the printers, they will not show up, so to get around this you can get the samba 3.0 workaround from http://mirror.contribs.org/smeserver/contribs/rvandenaker/testing/.
That should do it for you.
