Topic: compaq deskpro pentium 2 kernel panics

Hello,

I have trying to install SME 7.0, but after choosing the language Dutch from the menu, all I can see are kernel panics.
I also swith the Ide cabel from single cdrom first and then return the Ide cabel with the cdrom device and harddisk. Any off this cabel trics are not working for me.
Are there any users that have experience with installing SME on a compaq deskpro pentium 2.

Any advise I can use.

Maby I can bring the compaq Monday back and in return the can give me an HP pentium 2.

I think it works better with HP.
