Topic: Problem with Updates

Hi

I get the following message when I try to update - 6.01-01 with lates updates.
[root@sds 2005Update]# rpm -Uvh --replacepkgs *.rpm
error: failed dependencies:
        MySQL conflicts with mysql-3.23.58-1.73.6.legacy
        MySQL-devel conflicts with mysql-devel-3.23.58-1.73.6.legacy
        MySQL-server conflicts with mysql-server-3.23.58-1.73.6.legacy

any ideas?

It looks as they are installed already

Looks like I have a later version of MySQL
mysql --version
mysql  Ver 12.22 Distrib 4.0.22, for pc-linux (i686)

Should I just ommit mysql rpms?

Think you should keep the newest ones if mysql is ok
