Hi all,

I just have one question. I want to know that if it's possible I can forbiden email to my group. I have two groups with many users in them, and it's annoying that the users for negligence email to this groups.

Not entirely sure what you mean here, but I think you're asking if you can make it so that a certain group of users does not have email access.

If that is the question, the answer would be - no. You can disable web mail, but they can still get mail normally. I suppose you could play with settings making it difficult for them to retreive any mail, or set their disk quotas very low, but they could still get it.

If anyone knows another way of doing it, please step forward.

My question was that i have a group on SME Server 6.0.1.

I have a specific group that it's of directors. But i want that some persons can't email to this group.

Ah, I think I see what you are trying to do now. If I have this right, you want one group - the group that the directors are in - to not receive any email directed at the group.

To the best of my knowledge, this cannot be done. Any user would get the email directed at their group.

The best I can say is to set up rules in their email clients that would simply move any messages from the group to the trash. They would then not have to worry about it. Sorry I could not be of more help.
