Topic: Receiving EMail Problems

Hi Folks
I have my SME 6.5 server running well.  I am in the middle of setting up the EMail.  

I have modifed the DNS MX records so that they point to my server, but when i send mail to an address within the SME box i get the following error

This is an automatically generated Delivery Status Notification

Delivery to the following recipient failed permanently:

    ksmith@*****.com

Technical details of permanent failure:
PERM_FAILURE: SMTP Error (state 9): 550 unknown user


Has anyone got any ideas?

First question were have you set up your dns records.
second question do you have a static ip address.
