IMP & Attaching files
« on: December 01, 2001, 07:33:58 PM »
Hi,
I have a problem trying to attach files using webmail.
I browse to the file I want to send, then click attach and it comes back with a "The page cannot be displayed" error.

Where should I look first to troubleshoot?

Ralph,

Try checking this link out for info on increasing the attachment size limit:

http://myezserver.com/docs/mitel/webmail-attachment-size-howto.html

Let me know if that helps.  Good luck!

Thanks for the response.   I went throught the Howto.  I did need to know that.   But the error that I am getting is "The page cannot be displayed".   It appears that it is looking for a page that isn't there.   Attached file size appears ok.

Any other suggestions.

I'm having a similar problem.  When attaching .zip files that are not all that large (150k) I sometimes (but not always) get the page cannot be displayed screen.  As a workaround, I setup Outlook Express in IMAP mode.

Hi,

I am also getting an error when I try to attach a file.
I would login into IMP thought a browser.
The file size was 922kb and the file was winzip.exe

This is the error I got.

Warning: fopen("/tmp/att.5TjesT","r") - No such file or directory in /home/httpd/html/horde/imp/compose.php3 on line 586

Warning: Supplied argument is not a valid File-Handle resource in /home/httpd/html/horde/imp/compose.php3 on line 587

Warning: Unlink failed (No such file or directory) in /home/httpd/html/horde/imp/compose.php3 on line 589

Is there a bug in attaching a file using imp?

Any suggestions?

Thanks
