You wrote in an earlier post that you would offer help about installing Gallery 2 and ImageMagick.
I have installed gallery2 which is also brilliant. If anyone needs help I'd be happy to oblige or post.
However when uploading photos it complains of imagemagick not being installed. Yum says it is and the commands such as 'convert' are there. What's wrong?

I've got most of it done using NetPBM, but have got stuck with jhead which has a missing dependency
"Error Output:
/home/e-smith/files/ibays/Primary/html/gallery/netpbm/jhead:
/lib/libc.so.6: version GLIBC_2.3' not found (required by
/home/e-smith/files/ibays/Primary/html/gallery/netpbm/jhead)
Status: 1 (expected 0)"
I've also tried downloading ImageMagick which fails with multiple dependencies, including the same one as above, and several others.
I don't really understand how to install the missing libraries, and when I looked on the web for suitable rpms was bewildered by the range of options. I guess I'm looking for something that will install the GLIBC_2.3 version of libc.so.6 - an older version is already in /lib/ and also in (I think) /usr/lib/.
Will YUM (or yum) go find it( and the other missing bits) for me if I ask it instead of rpm -UVH to install ImageMagick?
I've still groping my way to understanding Linux, so please be kind if my question is too naive.
I'm running SME Server v6.0.1-1, and have managed (for example) to follow instructions to upgrade MySQL to v 4.0.22, so I get the general idea, but get lost in more technical bits once I leave either the web management interface, or Midnight Commander.
Gallery 2 says it can work with just the bits I have installed of NetPBM, but actually won't make thumbnails of uploaded images, which makes it effectively useless.
Thanks very much if you or anyone else can point me in the right direction to take the final few steps to get Gallery 2 working. I did manage to install Gallery 1.3, and an upgrade to v1.5.1, but have now got stuck halfway between v1.5 (which I've moved) and 2.0, which I've installed but which doesn't work, so I can neither import my old albums, nor remake them from scratch.
