NOT ABLE TO USE NUMERIC USER ID FOR MAIL SERVICE

currently i m working on third party mail server on windows machine and i want to deploy sme server v.6.0 i mean to say i want to switch from windows base mail server to sme server but i am facing one problem all accounts are in numeric form like 005@mycompany.com.
and it is not alloud in sme server.. please give me any solution from that i can use numeric user id value in sme server..

hi when trying to create account in numeric value i m getting this error message....if there is any module or update or if it is possible to do it by editing and config file pls help me

i want to use 002 and other numeric character as a user name because my all clients have this type of account..

Set the accounts up as u005, u007 etc and then set a numeric pseudonym to each account.

It may be true, but I can't think offhand of a good reason for the restriction. Please raise it in the bug tracker - thanks.
