Topic: Mail don't work

Hello,

   I have a problem with a e-smith-server v.3.1 : I can't send or receeve anay mail.

My Emails adresse are : account@peurichard.priv, so I've puted,
mail.peurichard.priv for POP and SMTP (acording of the manual). And it don't work... I don't know why.

You need to use valid DNS names, and have a working internet connection. You should be able to send email if you use the IP address of the e-smith sever/gateway for SMTP. You will only be able to receive email if you have a valid return email address, and have an MX record set up, or use fetchmail to receive mail from an existing POP account.
