Topic: SME 6.5 RC1 Backup to 6.0.1-01-sn not working

Hi!

I have an SME 6.5RC1 server. I made a backup /6.5/(~3.1 Gb; out of any bug). I made an SME 6.0.1-01-sn server, it's work fine (all modul). But the restore fuction is do nothing .... Why? Don't ask why, I need to move the backup on the SME 6.0.1. My backup file is stored an other machine (whith NTFS partition)

Any idea?

I'm assuming you used the backup to desktop function.
If the resultant backup file is larger than 2Gb you will not be able to restore it.
Search on backup for details about this but it is a tar/smb/browser issue.

I'm not so sure a downgrade backup/restore will work either.
