I'm using sme 6.5 and when I mount a drive using samba from a linux client, it eventually hangs. What I mean by this is that when browsing (normally using konqueror), it stops responding and the mount point stops responding. It then takes several attempts to unmount the drive and then when I get it re-mounted it works.
This doesn't seem to happen when I use smb:// in konqueror itself. This behaviour has been noted using both SuSE 9.3 and Mandriva 2006. This did not happen with earlier versions of SME.
Has anyone else run into this and have any suggestions for me?
