For users of the Pattern matching executable content message rejection contrib by Gordon Rowell.
You can (easily) add the extra patterns that are in sme7.0beta8 to your sme 6.x.x server by copying the db file from
/home/e-smith/db/mailpatterns
to
/home/e-smith/mailpatterns
Do
ls -al
and check permissions.
The correct permissions are:
-rw-r----- 1 root admin 2973 Dec 5 20:35 mailpatterns
After replacing the mailpatterns db file, enable the new patterns by doing:
/sbin/e-smith/signal-event email-update
Review the patterns in server manager email panel and enable or disable patterns as required.
Note that the patterns are now listed individually rather than in similar groups, so you will see more patterns listed than before.
