Topic: another ftp server

Hi, I use sme server 6.0.1 version. But I've another ftp server inside my local lan. For the sme server I use "server-only" mode. my sme ip is 192.168.1.4 and my ftp server is 192.168.1.2. for the sme, I use nat to map wan ip. How can I map 192.168.1.2 to ftp.xxxdomain.com??

Open http://yourserver/server-manager

Open Hostnames and addresses

Remove old ftp entry if it exists

Click on "Add hostname" button

Hostname ftp
Domain YourDomainName
Location Local

Click on Next button

Local IP 192.168.1.2

Click Next button

Click Add button.

Your Done!

I have test that already but it doesn't work! Should I set the ftp as a guest mode?

In my own testing, the only way I could get the SME, in "server only", to pass other servers through, was to install a contrib by Darrell May called:
 dmc-mitel-proxypass-0.0.1-3.noarch.rpm

It seems that when the SME is set as "server only", it will not do the routing(?).
Although when set to server "gateway" it has always worked properly.
