In attempting to resolve some yum cyclical relationships, I (being the idiot that I am) removed the glibc rpm from my 6.0.1 server (with a bunch of contrib rpm's).
Net result is my bash shell is hosed, I can't log in to a terminal or via ssh, most of my programs don't work etc. (ie. no mount, ls, yum. Can't connect via samba or afp), so no way to get the glibc on the system to re-install it.
Should I boot off my 6.0.1 iso and "upgrade" to resolve this, or should I boot off 7.0pre1 and upgrade? I'd rather do the latter, but what is the risk?
What else could I do to restore the server to a functioning state?
