Hi all id like to look at adding a san to my sme network. Id like to start of with about 2 TB but be able to add to it. I have looked at using iSCSI and assume i can use this with RAID and LVM to give me growable storage. This is only for my local lan and i may be barking up the wrong tree. Im hoping to add multiple servers to my rack with say 2TB mirrored per server that i can join together as i large array. Then i want some means to back it up which would probably be another san. I have huge numbers of scanned documents and images i need to archive and keep.

Any input would be appricated?

James

in case you are wondering, nobody is responding because no one knows what you are asking.

If you want feedback about what you are trying to do: go for it! Sounds like a pretty cool project and I don't see why it wouldn't work without some customization.
