Hey...
I just heard about SME and it seems very nice, Going from Fedora. But i have some problems..

After the installation, system boot stops on L... I foundsome help in the Troubleshooting FAQ.. (Troubleshooting FAQ) But cant seem to find the problem .. Any ideas ? ..

What was the error code that you received? Each step of printing out 'LILO' is a step in the first stage of the boot process. Usually when you get just the first 'L' there is an error code also and it usually means media problems or a problem with your lilo.conf file having incorrect disk parameters.

There wasno error code, BUT i switched some jumper on my HD and it works.. Isnt there any GUIs ? ...

Maybe changed the jumper from slave to master? I am not sure what you mean by the GUI, there really isn't a GUI for the boot process. There is a webpage for administering the sme server, is that what you meant?

Hmm .. so you have to configure the server from a klient ? .. Can´t you get your router to decide witch IP the Server has ? ..

Ah, now  get see what you were asking, sorry. It should have walked you through the setup after the first reboot, it didn't do this? If not, log in as root then 'su admin' and choose option 2 and that should walk you through the setup.
