Can I set an external POP3 box individually for...
« on: January 31, 2006, 10:02:54 PM »
Can I set an external POP3 box individually for each local mailbox?  I don't see a screen for that in the web-based configuration system.  What about setting a given local mailbox so that, for a given local mailbox, SME collects mails from two or more seperate, external POP3 boxes?

All I see now is a function to optionally set an external multi-drop box as the primary place all mails arrive through.  If I set it to that, and also have a set of single-user POP3 boxes at the same external site, does it check those too, or ignore them and just check the multi-drop box?

Am I up a gumtree without a paddle here?

If this is a Feature That Doesn't Exist Yet, I guess the moderators can feel free to move this thread to the Suggestions forum...

The user's mail client can do that directly. Most mail clients can pull from as many POP or IMAP mailboxes as you like.

There are no such moderators. If you want to suggest any features, then you should do it in the Bug Tracker, under the "Future" category.

Thank you, funkus, that was it.  I have installed the package, and have tested it on one particular mailbox.  It worked the trick.
