Adding PORT to reach the ISP SMTP (with/out Auth)
« on: January 20, 2006, 04:22:26 PM »
All is in the tittle.
:)

When you can't  send your mails directly from the SME SMTP (because of RBL for example), you can indicate the ISP SMTP server's that you want to use after SME.
The dev had the idea to add the authentification feature (thanks).

Could we go fearther and adding the port to use for reaching the ISP SMTP's ?

(For example : the french ISP wanadoo gives : smtp-msa.wanadoo.fr with AUTH on the port : 587).

THX.

Could you raise this as a New Feature Request in the bug tracker?

Thanks,
