I have in the list the following

Quote
glibc.i386 2.3.4-2.19 - smeos
kernel-module-appletalk.i586 1.0-1_2.6.9_34.EL - smeos
kernel-module-ppp.i586">kernel-module-ppp.i586 1.0.2-2_2.6.9_34.EL - smeos
kernel-module-pptp-conntrack-nat.i586 2.0-1_2.6.9_34.EL - smeos
kernel-module-slip.i586 1.0-1_2.6.9_34.EL - smeos
kernel-smp-module-appletalk.i586 1.0-1_2.6.9_34.EL - smeos
kernel-smp-module-ppp.i586 1.0.2-2_2.6.9_34.EL - smeos
kernel-smp-module-pptp-conntrack-nat.i58 2.0-1_2.6.9_34.EL - smeos
kernel-smp-module-pptp-conntrack-nat.i68 2.0-1_2.6.9_34.EL - smeos
kernel-smp-module-slip.i586 1.0-1_2.6.9_34.EL - smeos
kernel-smp.i586 2.6.9-34.EL - smeos
kernel.i586 2.6.9-34.EL - smeos
openssl.i386 0.9.7a-43.8sme1 - smeos
openssl.i586 0.9.7a-43.8sme1 - smeos

I have tried to install all of them and I have even tried to install just the "i386" ones.  I have not been successful.  Do I need to install these files or only some of them and how can i get this to happen?

I'm using SME v7.0

Thanks in advance
Adrian

I have already done some research and only ask questions if I still can't work it out.

Try logging in to the console via SSH (assuming your machine is running "headless") and run "yum update".  Report any errors ... most likely to the Bug Tracker.

Quote
[root@gateway ~]# yum update
==============================================================
WARNING: Additional commands may be required after running yum
==============================================================
Setting up Update Process
Setting up repositories
Reading repository metadata in from local files
No Packages marked for Update/Obsoletion
================================================================
No new rpms were installed. No additional commands are required.

[root@gateway ~]#

Should i be concerned or is everything ok

Adrian

Hi Adrian,

I think that this is OK and your system is up to date.
