Topic: diff files in squidGuard

hi,

a while back i followed the how-to and installed squidGuard.
today I have downloaded a new set of blacklists from squidGuard.org/blacklists
and have replaced the old ones.

i had to add details for proxy and mail to squidGuard.conf.
it works fine.

however, i find in the porn directory a lot of domain .diff files.

when squid (and hence squidGuard) start up does it automatically take notice of these diff files or do i need to somehow merge them with the normal domain file?

i know that squidguard -u will make a running squidguard take note of the diff files but if i shutdwon the server and restart will i have to remember to sypte squidguard -u or is there a way of mergiing them with the main file?
