Hi Admin,

Can you please include the Multiple ISP Bandwidth -- LoadBalancing & ISP Failover features in next release of SME? I mean to add all kind of kernel & other patches. So that only configuration part (IP Address, mask, Interface name, etc) will remains to the Administrator's.

SME7 uses a standard Centos4.2 kernel for ease of maintenance.

The developers of SME have previosly said that they have too few resources to be able  to stray away from a non standard kernels.

So I doubt that you are likely to see the mods you would like anytime soon.

Of course I am just relaying what I have read on contribs.org and the various email lists.

Take a look at the pfSense project.  It does everything you are asking for above.  http://www.pfsense.com

Its running very nicely on my Nokia IP330 firewall.
