OpenVPN in bridge mode configuration
« on: August 03, 2006, 03:43:09 PM »
Some newbie questions (;

Scenario:
ADSL router with dynamic IP external with DynDNS, internal IP 192.168.1.1
Sme server: external IP 192.168.1.10 internal IP 192.168.0.1

Configuration of OpenVPN:

Should I configure the Internal or External interface and if external = Eth1, should the tap setting then be tap1?

Is there a doc, anything else specific I should also do.

First time installation killed External IP on SME, stopped OpenVPN, re-initialized external IP to enable access to the Internet and e-mail.

Thanks

Chris

Openvpn will create tap0. What are you're trying to accomplish?
