« on: January 07, 2002, 03:36:53 AM »
Hello everone I use the newest esmith server and tried to portforward ports using what adrian chung and charlie brady had posted-www.myezserver.com/docs/mitel/ipportfw-howto.html. I download the e-smith-ipportfw-0.1.1-1noarch.rpm and installed it tring rpm -i and rpm -ivhl and niether worked. But whats wierd is when i tried to install again it said its installed but yet when i try to  rpm -e it said it wasnt installed. But anyhow I followed there advice and installed it or so I thought and then made ipportfw.txt with the script commands they give examples of and I went to root and typed  . ipportfw didnt work then I tried . ipportfw.txt and then alot of bash and with it saying couldnt open such dirs.  Im just wondering if this was for old esmith server and if not and it does work what I did wrong I followed it step by step and help would be appricated.

 Sincerely, Cheech
ps. I just went to that same site and looks like that page has changed since I last time I went there which is 4 days ago. Plus a newer rpm file. Need some help badly please.
