WALL or 'write all' command
« on: April 17, 2006, 07:10:02 PM »
I've tried using the "wall" command to message all logged in users without success.  I am using putty and logged in as root to execute.

Example:
Code: [Select]
wall server reboot in 5 minutes

Nothing went out.  What am I doing wrong or is this a bug or unsupported command?

Thanks![/quote]
