I  want to live where you are if you can afford to hang a SME server off a 3G/GPRS connection. I pay monthly $19 for 15MB and $1.50 per MB over for a GPRS connection with Vodafone here in NZ. :-x

oddo,

The Cardbus slot should be automatically detected by Centos base of SME.
The 3G card won't be but there is info on the net about how to get a vodafone 3G card working with Linux. It looks like a bit of work to do.

http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&safe=on&q=linux%2Bvodafone+3g+card&btnG=Search&meta=

Good luck.
