When I try to use connect to https://www.mydonaim.com/webmail, it get the following message:
Fatal error: Call to undefined function: mysql_pconnect() in /home/httpd/horde-phplib/db_mysql.inc on line 73  

On line 73 of that file I have
$this->Link_ID=mysql_pconnect($Host, $User, $Password);

Does anyone know what the problem may be??

Any help would be great.

Have you upgraded PHP? What does

rpm -qa | grep ^php

give you?

I have upgraded php to 4.0.6.  

rpm -qa | grep ^php gives me php 4.0.6

If that's all you get, then your problem is very simple: you don't have php-mysql installed.  Install it, and your problem should be solved.

Well, there's a how-to on upgrading PHP, which you apparently haven't read or followed...

I read the upgrade php, and everything seems to be installed.  rpm -qa | grep ^php gives me the following:

php-4.0.6-10.arvin.rh7.1
php-imap-4.0.6-10.arvin.rh7.1
php-mysql-4.0.6-10.arvin.rh7.1
php-ldap-4.0.6-10.arvin.rh7.1
 I thought that meant sql was installed.  If it isn't, let me know.

Dan, thank you for your help.  I went thru the PHP install with GD support and everything worked.  Thank you for your help.  It's good to know that there are people in the phorum with kindness and patience.  I have been in others where everyone mocks the guy who can't figure something out.  Thank you Dan.

Webmail gives me a similar error after I performed a restore:

Warning: Access denied for user: 'hordemgr@localhost' (Using password: YES) in /home/httpd/horde-phplib/db_mysql.inc on line 73

Exactly how did you fix yours?

I just remove the php upgrade that I had done to get the error, then downloaded and installed the php update with gd support.  The how-to is: http://sme.nightspirit.nl/php-upgrade.html  I didn't think it was going to work, but erverything is smooth.  Hope that works for you.  I am using SME 5.0.
