Hi, how do I configure login script to run?
is ther a faq on them?

If you use a domain logon they should run automatically.

You can simply check by editing the netlogon.bat file to have the 'pause' command at the last line (without the quotes).

Unfortunately I don't know the exact location of the netlogon.bat file but it should be somewhere heer I believe:

/home/files/profiles/samba/netlogon/netlogon.bat
Be careful whose advice you buy, but be patient with those who supply it. The exact location is /home/e-smith/files/samba/netlogon/netlogon.bat  ;-)
