Before I submitted the bug, I wanted to test it some more.

Here is more info on what I did.

I installed SME 7.0.  Upon completion, I forced an update of the software and it gave me the error above upon reboot.  I reinstalled SME from scratch in order to recover.  This time I let it sit and I had it check for updates daily but not install them.  This morning when I went to view the updates, there were none.

So,  Here are my questions.

1.  When it checks, does it download but not install?
2.  What is different between the auto check and the manual check?
3.  When installed, is a forced update recommended (like winders) or is it recommended to do an auto check first?

Thanks.

Again, you will need to submit to Bug Tracker if you still wondering why you need to it's because SME 7.0x is not a finished product yet
