Topic: help installation stall at HD formatting

hi guys i could use some help im just trying to install sme server for the first time but
the install process only gets as far as formatting my hard drive then stalls 30% into it everytime. Ive tried re downloading and burning the cds again but it makes no difference the cds pass the media check  no worries but the problem still persists

All problems should be reported via the Bug Tracker (and nowhere else). Thanks.

You might try using something like the Ultimate Boot CD to do a "low-level format" of your hard drive, or "write zeroes" as it's sometimes called.  This erases partition tables and all data, and also finds & marks bad blocks.  This will give you the best chance of a good install, assuming all other hardware is OK.
