Hi,

I want to have the server go out to my ISPs mail server and retrieve my messages rather than have mail be sent direct to my server.  I tried to do this by configuring the email as a dialup/multidrop and using my ISPs mail server as the secondary mail server and putting in my account and password.  It doesnt seem to work.  Am I trying to make this do something it cant? Thanks for any advice.

Try a program called Fetchmail. I got most of the information on how to install it at http://www.tuxedo.org/~esr/fetchmail/. Works great you can even set it up via the administration panel in e-smith. I even managed to set it up as a E-Smith Newbie.Gregg wrote:
